Data Analytics Process over Road Accidents Data—A Case Study of Lisbon City

Traffic accidents in urban areas lead to reduced quality of life and added pressure the cities’ infra-structures. In context smart city data is becoming available that allows a deeper analysis phenomenon. We propose fusion process from different information sources like road accidents, weather conditions, local authority reports tools, traffic, fire brigade. These big analytics allow creation knowledge for municipalities using data. Data visualizations picture overview. This paper presents an approach geo-referenced accident-hotspots identification. Using ArcGIS Pro, we apply Kernel Density Hot Spot Analysis (Getis-Ord Gi*) identifying existence black spots terms location evaluate possible human, environmental circumstantial factors may influence severity accidents.
